Bunny Birthday



Collect hearts and keep Bugs Bunny's HP high as he tries to collect as many carrots as possible along the way. These games (pictured below) were a mixed bag of chance games like the bingo game, and skill focused like the whack-a-mole game, but were a nice way to break up the monotony of the levels.

The design was simplified to make room for Bugs' diving animation, but while the platform "disappears" it still spins. The code for the object is present and partially functional: touching it will cause Bugs to float off the screen in a balloon as in the final version, but the level still doesn't end, and the music loops indefinitely.

Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout was a 2D side-scrolling action platform title published by Kemco for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. Bugs Bunny's Birthday Ball is a pinball machine from January 1991, manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Co. T was a lovely day so we were able to play some games in the garden.

The airport in Manchester has a game room with two pinball machines, and when I visited recently, the two games were Theatre of Magic and Bugs Bunny's Birthday Ball. The prices shown are the lowest prices available for Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout the last time we updated.

The prototype of The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout , then known as The Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash, is a pretty early build. Excuse Plot : Bugs Bunny is going off to celebrate his 50th birthday, and the other Looney Tunes are (seemingly) jealous cute rabbit and go out of their way to sabotage it.
